Barcode Labels
This benefit has been found to be very useful in meets that particularly involved a lot of runners during each race. Typically, we tend to recommend this for benefit for cross country meets and road races that involve an average of sixty (60) or more competitors per race.
In this case, barcode labels are placed on and designated to each of the competitor/bib numbers that are normally given out to each athlete. Printed on each barcode label is a barcode number matching its equivalent bib number. For instance, an athlete with bib #125 will have a barcode label attached to that bib number with a barcode label containing the number 125 as well. Each barcode label will be represented by its corresponding bib number, and when a race is finished the barcode labels will be scanned and accounted for in the order that the competitors finished the race. This benefit serves as an alternative to manually keying in the competitor numbers in the order that the competitors finished the race. This has been found to eliminate the need to correct typing errors and has also been found to speed up the processing of results data after a race has been concluded.
The barcode labels themselves can be purchased separately or they can also be provided on our part and accounted for in our formal bid. However, if you choose to purchase them separately the bib numbers must be equivalent with the number on the barcode label, and the barcode label must be attached to the bib number before assigning bib numbers to athletes. If you are interested in utilizing this benefit, be sure to choose it on your service request.

Combined Race Labels
Combined race labels are provided during track events which include the combination of different genders and/or age groups typically during distance races. In this case, hip numbers, with a set value (eg., #4), are placed on the back of each added division. Thus, if boys are combined in the 3,000 Meter Run with the girls division, then all of the girls would wear #4 on their back for instance. This has proven to be affective in that runners are able to gauge how they are at any given moment throughout the race. This benefit is offered at no extra charge, however, selecting this option on your service request indicates to us that there will be combined races at your meet.

Competitor (Bib) Numbers & Safety Pins
Competitor numbers, otherwise known as bib number, must be utilized in every race for each meet in which barcode labels, and/or competitor number labels are requested. We may provide you with the competitor numbers and pins if you choose, but you also retain the option to purchase them separately. Be sure to highlight or circle this option on the service request if you wish for us to provide these for you.

Competitor (Bib) Number Labels
Competitor/Bib number labels are stickers that contain meet information about each athlete. Competitor number labels can list an athlete's full name, their team name, their bib number, their events along with their entry time, their heat and lane assignments, and either their class year/grade or their year of birth. These labels are printed out and attached to the posterior side of each athlete's bib number before they are given away. That way, the athlete always has access to important personal information. Coaches and meet officials would also have easy access to the athlete's information in case a need arises for any verification.
